Patrick's Story

"The reason I saw Dr. Anderson was to come in to get a frenectomy. I've been working with the Oxygen Advantage Team, simulating altitude training, and one of the benefits of a frenectomy is to get your tongue to sit back a little farther than it usually is. That kind of brings your center of gravity back and kind of helps the whole breathing process. A frenectomy is - you cut the bottom piece of skin under your tongue. When I came in for my appointment, I was definitely a little bit nervous. My procedure went very well, only took about five minutes. Kind of felt like a little pinch, and I was done. My recovery has been pretty well so far. The staff here has been great; ever since I walked in, they were very nice to me. The waiting room is phenomenal, so kind of make you feel at home and kind of took the nerves off a little bit. Dr. Anderson's a great guy; I was definitely very happy to have him as our doctor.
