I had all four wisdom teeth removed because my wisdom teeth were coming in at an angle, and if they came in at more than an angle and popped through, it would shift my whole mouth. When I came in early in the morning, the staff was very nice. They greeted me with smiles, and they asked me how my morning was, if I was tired, if I was nervous. Dr. Anderson was very nice. He was so smiley, and he didn't look tired at all, so it didn't make me nervous at all in the morning. The surgery went really well. I came in, and I felt like I was asleep, and then I just woke up, and I was done. It didn't seem like it took long at all. My recovery was very nice. I didn't have any swelling. I used ice, and it was very easy. Overall, I had a very good experience here. Everyone was really nice, and the surgery went really well. I really recommend Granger Oral Surgery because they were very nice.--Julia
Wisdom Teeth Removal for Residents of Benton Harbor, MI
Wisdom teeth, or third molars, are the last teeth to develop. The average adult mouth only has room for 28 permanent teeth, so it can become problematic when an extra set of molars tries to squeeze in. Some people develop all four wisdom teeth, others develop less than four, and some never develop any. By having wisdom teeth extracted by an oral surgeon, you prevent these oral health problems and more from having the chance to arise.
Untreated wisdom teeth can cause damage to adjacent molars and push your teeth out of alignment. Some wisdom teeth become trapped beneath the gums, or impacted, and require surgical removal because they will not naturally erupt. Dr. Taite Anderson performs wisdom tooth extractions for all ages and our team ensures your health, safety, and comfort throughout every step of the oral surgery process.
