What required my oral surgery was my wisdom teeth were growing in, and the roots were also growing into my nasal cavity. When I came in, I was very nervous to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I was afraid it was going to hurt really, really bad, but it was alright. When I came in, the staff was really nice. They kept me calm throughout the whole process really. Dr. Anderson was really nice. He explained everything that was going to happen beforehand and when I came back in to actually get the surgery done. Overall, I did have a good experience here. I would recommend Granger Oral Surgery.--Madi
Wisdom Teeth Removal for Residents of Notre Dame, IN
Wisdom teeth, or third molars, are the last teeth to develop. The average adult mouth only has room for 28 permanent teeth, so it can become problematic when an extra set of molars tries to squeeze in. Some people develop all four wisdom teeth, others develop less than four, and some never develop any. By having wisdom teeth extracted by an oral surgeon, you prevent these oral health problems and more from having the chance to arise.
Untreated wisdom teeth can cause damage to adjacent molars and push your teeth out of alignment. Some wisdom teeth become trapped beneath the gums, or impacted, and require surgical removal because they will not naturally erupt. Dr. Taite Anderson performs wisdom tooth extractions for all ages and our team ensures your health, safety, and comfort throughout every step of the oral surgery process.
